The challenge
A Jacksonville charity gives clothing to families in need, based on requests from schools and agencies. The app it relied on, first built by university students, had stopped working and could not be fixed. The charity needed to follow each request until pickup, give staff and volunteers the right access, and produce reports.
What we built
A brand-new app: simple forms to register each request, tracking until the clothes are picked up, separate access for managers, staff and volunteers, automatic email updates and printable reports.
The outcome
The charity uses the system every day. Managing requests, which wasn't possible with the old app, is now part of its daily routine.
